Requiem
November 13th 2010 at 7.30 pm
St Paul's Church, West Street, Brighton

"The original idea for the piece was inspired by a visit to the museum of artwork by children in the concentration camps at the Jewish Cemetery in Prague. As the ideas developed and took shape I felt that I was responding to a wider idea and now feel that the 'Requiem' is for all people who have been victims of violence but of whom there is no trace or evidence of their having been alive. It has therefore become a Requiem for the lost and forgotten." Tim Nail, Composer
